Flowcrete introduced its own beauty product to L’Oréal with the installation of its attractive floor finish Mondéco at the cosmetic giant’s factory in southern Belgium.
Almost 10,000 sq metres of Mondéco have already been laid at the manufacturing plant in Racogne, close to the Luxembourg border, where shampoos and other products across the cosmetics range are all produced.
Mondéco contains granite and flint, combining the beauty of nature with incredible strength and longevity. Mondéco, a seamless, microbial in-situ terrazzo floor – is easy to clean and slip resistant.
The addition of an anti-microbial means the growth of bacteria, fungi, moulds and mildew are all inhibited. This unique product – devised as a result of Flowcrete’s ongoing commitment to research and technology - is suitable for a wide-range of environments, including heavy-duty food and pharmaceutical production and process areas, where hygiene and durability are of paramount concern.
In addition to the seamless terrazzo, Flowcrete’s vapour permeable floor coating, Flowseal EPW, was installed to provide a hygienic and cost effective flooring solution suited to areas of light pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
